I am an articulator of dreams, through pen flowing over paper and fingertips across turntables. A builder of realities, I am passionate about changing the world through powerful narratives.
I am a writer, poet and musician with a bachelors from Harvard College and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. I began writing poems and song lyrics as a child in Houston, Texas, and I expanded into creative writing with short stories in high school, then spoken word, novels and screenplays as an adult.
I am currently finalizing my debut novel, The Drop, a post-apocalyptic thriller driven by evocative prose, classical dystopian themes and an expansive world, as well as other active projects: Oops! We’re Alive… and BirthRight.
I live in Los Angeles with my spouse and our very energetic puppy.
Writing Awards and Appearances:
Spring 2020: Selected into inaugural cohort of Justice for My Sister’s BIPOC Sci-Fi Screenwriting Lab, where I developed the pilot for my original series, Birthright.
January 2022: Honored as first guest on poetry podcast, Expansions & Definitions, which featured my original poem “The Velvet Rope.”
